WELCOME to the Socorro Police Department. The City of Socorro is located in far west Texas in El Paso County along the Rio Grande river.
Rich in history, the City of Socorro is home to 35,000 residents upon the Mission Trail. The Police Department consists of 31 sworn officers and 11 non-sworn support personel.
Highly trained, the men and women of the Socorro Police Department are dedicated to providing quality police service to the residents and visitors of the city and are often called upon to provide support services to the surrounding communities.
